100% Honest Review: Timeless Skincare Vitamin C and Matrixyl Synthe' 6 with hyaluronic acid Serums

It took me around four months to write this review. Part of it was because I procrastinated, and I apologize to Timeless Skincare! The other reason was because I've just finished one bottle of Timeless Skincare 20% C + E + Ferulic Acid Serum. This morning, I placed an order on Amazon for another two bottles!*

Why you should trust me...

I tested Timeless Skincare's 20% C + E + Ferulic Acid serum for over two months on my face. I've applied the serum to my skin at least once every one to three days. Aside from receiving two bottles of serum to review from Timeless Skincare, I was not financially compensated, and this review and opinions are my own. I'm also super invested in skincare, so I would not review or recommend a product unless I vet and try it myself.

Packaging and pricing

The serums from Timeless Skincare cost anywhere from under $20 for one ounce, to around $24.95, depending on which type of serum you get. If you purchase from Timeless Skincare's website, you can get a discount when you purchase 2-4+ items. It seems like it's cheaper to buy off of Amazon as you can get one bottle for a discounted price already (6 dollars off!).  The CoEnzyme Q10 serum costs $24.95 USD on Timeless Skincare's website, and $18.95 USD on Amazon. For just one ounce of product, I do feel the price is slightly high. The packaging is nice and standard. The serum bottle, I believe, is made of glass. I've dropped the bottle from a high place before, onto a hard floor, and it did not break.

Smell and texture

The 20% C + E + Ferulic acid smells a little like roses, and glides onto the skin without sticking too much to the palm of your hand. It feels like it absorbs well into the face. It's not oily. It's a little yellow looking, and thick, but not very thick like other serums out there. The Matrixyl Synthe' 6 has no smell, really, and feels like silky water. I haven't used the Matrixyl Synthe' 6 much, so I can also talk about my results with using the 20% C + E + Ferulic acid serum.

Benefits of Vitamin C

"A crucial player in the production of both collagen and an essential antioxidant is vitamin C which helps with rejuvenating damaged aged skin. However, when taken orally very little reaches the skin. To help combat effects of ageing, a natural vitamin C serum needs to be applied directly to the skin. When used topically, results show vitamin C serum stimulates the formation of collagen while stopping the effects of free radicals, helping people across the globe maintain a firm, youthful looking skin"- Timelessha.com

Effects on skin and  hormonal acne

Okay skin for someone over 30, right?

Okay skin for someone over 30, right?

Here is my skin without foundation or powder. Aside from one or two hormonal acne by my brow area, residual scarring and some pore pits from old problematic acne, my skin has been clear! For the past two months, I've had less hormonal acne than I've had throughout the entire year! In the morning, my hubby said my face glowed! I really think it's from the exfoliating effects of the 20% C + E + Ferulic acid serum.

Regarding wrinkles

I'm not very sure how the serums work to prevent or treat wrinkles. I have some expression lines around my eyes and forehead. Maybe it's because I have a chubbier face- I don't have many wrinkles to worry about, yet! Wrinkle-wise, I haven't seen a difference.

Non-GMO, Vegetarian, and cruelty-free

Timeless Skincare serums are non-GMO, vegetarian, and cruelty-free. I'm sold!

Easy to use

First you wash your face. Then you massage several drops of serum into your dried face and neck area. Finally, add a layer of your favorite moisturizer. If you're going to be outdoors, it's best if the final layer of moisturizer has sunscreen properties! Timeless does not recommend its  20% C + E + Ferulic acid serum for people with oily skin. I have oily skin and it works great for me!

"Contains Vitamin C, an antioxidant that evens skin tone and helps build collagen. Also contains vitamin E and Ferulic Acid, used to extend the life and effectiveness of vitamin C. We use a 20% concentration of L-ascorbic acid for maximum benefit. Our product is guaranteed fresh and effective for 3 months."- Timelessha.com

Final Thoughts

Having used an entire bottle of Timeless Skincare's 20% C + E + Ferulic Acid serum in two month's time, I'm a fan! I like the dropper and the glass bottle; however, I'm clumsy, so I wouldn't mind a pump bottle either. The serums aren't greasy or oily. They are easy to use, have no terrible smells, and the Vitamin C serum doesn't make my face yellow or orange. It's non-GMO, cruelty-free, and vegetarian. I guess if there's one thing I'd like to see improved is that if this were a vegan product. Even better then.

The longterm effects are positive. My skin glows. My hormonal acne every month has decreased. I honestly recommend the Timeless Skincare's 20% C + E + Ferulic Acid serum and give it 5 out of 5 pandas! Thank you, Timeless Skincare for the samples.
