Hi friends! Recently I've received gorgeous sample cards from Basic Invite, and I've thoroughly checked out their website and what they have to offer. Wedding season is around the corner, and so are birthday parties and bridal showers. You may be looking for a place to print out your next set of invitation cards. If you're stumped, head over to Basic Invite and see what they have to offer.

For soon-to-be newly weds, you can design a free wedding website at Basic Invite, and then create custom invitations. Before you order the invitations in bulk, buy a sample first. Check it and then check it again (for spelling errors and little details) before you order in bulk.

Your cards can come with rounded corners, beautiful foil print (in gold, silver, or rose gold), a velvety paper, or this gorgeous pearl shimmer. There are so many different templates to choose from, and all the colors you can think of to truly customize your invitations. After your wedding, don't forget the thank you cards! I ordered some pretty sweet thank you card samples from Basic Invite, and like them very much! If you're satisfied with the sample, you can actually use it because it doesn't come with a "proof" or "sample" watermark. My favorite designs are the modern ones and the illustrated ones. The painted floral patterns are so, so pretty.

As far as my user experience with Basic Invite, its website does not have the most intuitive interface. It's cluttered with so many words and side menus. Its card and invitation editor, however, is not clunky and is easy to use, requiring no learning curve, really.

One word of advice, don't print light yellows or tans against a white background. See my elephant thank you card in the picture? It's very faded. This is why you should always order samples before you order in bulk.

What do you think about Basic Invite? Where do you go for your custom invitations? Let me know if you try them out and how it turns out for you!

Happy inviting, friends!
