Phil recently turned three and discovered non-toxic, washable kid's paints*. He has already filled one full coloring pad* with his paintings! Painting soothes and calms children, and gets their creativity and imaginations flowing!

At first, I poured a little bit of paint into a palette. Phil doesn't like to make messes. Then, he preferred to dip his paintbrushes directly into the paint bottles. He began to tolerate messes more, just a bit! As his mommy, I don't direct Phil. I allow him free range, to paint either points of the paintbrush, or to use his fingers if he wishes. I am biased, of course, but I think his paintings are gorgeous! What do you think?

Allow your little ones to explore without limits- that's how you'll discover your child's future hobbies and loves! Templates, pre-made crafts, and other store-brought goodies may be fun, but early on, let your little adventurers discover and explore! Have fun painting, everyone!
